I don’t think anyone would say that purchasing a pre construction condo that has not been built is an easy decision. Buying from a model and floor plan takes a leap of faith. But doing your homework, definitely helps calm the nerves.
When I bought a condo in the DNA3 building, just from looking at the plans and prior to it being available to the public, there was a flurry of interest in the building. It seemed that the best units where going, quickly. That’s common though, so I knew I needed to act fast to have the opportunity to own in such a great building.
After I bought it, I was often checking out the construction site, and I have to say, watching the building go up was amazing to watch. Seeing the corner unit I choose, watching the windows, walls, and finishes go in all lead up to a buildup of anticipation for me.
Now that it’s long been completed, I can say, I’m very happy with the purchase, which I now use as an investment rental property. It is an investment rental. It was a smart move, and it turned out to be an excellent addition to my real estate portfolio.
What does it look like? I decorated, styled, and customized it to my own tastes. When you walk into the unit, you’ll notice the beautiful engineered hardwood floors, ultra-modern kitchen, and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows right away. It’s cozy, but it’s stylish.
